Green and Blacks was excited to build awareness and drive purchase for their Organic chocolate range. They recognized that going D2C (direct-to-consumer) with product samples would be a powerful way to reach their target demographic in their homes, delivering an exciting and delicious treat and building that brand love.
By using existing D2C retailers as their sampling channel, Green & Blacks was able to leverage an established, engaged audience. This channel also gave them the ability to zero in on the niche target group and align their organic product with inner-urban, health and wellness focused consumers. They used Brandcrush to book their sampling campaign, which saw full-sized samples of their Organic Milk Chocolate bars placed into wellness boxes Bellabox and Retreat Yourself, as well as premium flower delivery service, LVLY.
Brandcrush was able to help drive trial and feedback for Green & Blacks among a loyal customer base which largely consisted of females in the age range of 18-40. For a cost per reach of just $0.53, the campaign was able to build brand awareness, reaching approximately 20,000 potential new customers and driving them to seek out this delicious product in their local IGAs and Coles supermarkets.
