Parents were very enthusiastic to take Chia Pods home to try, a few had already tasted them but had never seen them in packs. Quite a few parents came back the next day saying that their children really enjoyed them and they would look out for them in the supermarket.

Bounce, Glen Iris

Innovative Australian health food company, The Chia Co, had a new healthy snacking product set to launch in supermarkets across the country.

Understanding how hard it can often be to get kids to eat healthy food, The Chia Co created Chia Pod Smooth: a dairy-free and deliciously smooth chia pudding in a handy squeeze pack — perfect for little lunchboxes and on-the-go snacking.

The brand wanted to get Chia Pod Smooth into the hands of their target market: school-aged children, to get valuable product feedback and also to encourage mums to seek it out in store.

Through Brandcrush, the Brand booked a fun afternoon pop-up event at Bounce, a massive indoor trampoline park and playground. They brought their own Brand team down to the venue and talked with mums and kids alike, explaining the benefits of chia, introducing the Chia Pod Smooth product, and sharing the brand’s Aussie-grown story. Packs of the new Chia Pod Smooth products were also given to each member as a gift with purchase.
