PERKii is a range of delicious, probiotic juices that offer great taste but even better benefits for the consumer.  With literally billions of probiotics in each beverage, PERKii is the brainchild of a leading team of Food Technicians at The University of Queensland. Their unique  encapsulation process protects the probiotics from being destroyed by our stomachs with a natural, micro-coating so they are able to get to where it really matters: your gut!

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the PERKii team found themselves with excess stock in Queensland and Victoria. Rather than let their product go to waste, they decided this was a great opportunity to grow their fanbase by distributing this excess stock as free samples.

The impending use-by date of the products meant a solution was needed, fast. Using our seamless booking platform, the PERKii team booked their sampling activation via one of our most popular Partners, Geezy, who offer access to a nationwide network of rideshare and food delivery drivers.

By filtering their options, PERKii were able to zero in on specific postcodes within Sydney and Melbourne to target consumers using rideshare services in areas where they could also track uptake with nearby retailers.

The activation was a huge success, with PERKii reaching more than 16,000 potential new customers with their free samples. The activation was also a great success for Geezy, who reported that their drivers saw an increase in both ratings from passengers and tips during the activation.

Goody Bag

A healthy snack for when hunger strikes

Fodbods are delicious, FODMAP-friendly protein bars made from all-natural, non-GMO ingredients. Created in Melbourne by female food entrepreneur, Vanessa, they are low in sugar, vegan, and gluten free. While a great choice for those with FODMAP or gluten intolerances, Fodbods are also a delicious, healthy option for anyone looking for a high protein snack. They're one of the few vegan protein bars that aren't packed with sugar and additives. They're super healthy, filling and convenient — the perfect snack when hunger strikes! Available for purchase in local health food stores across Australia, Fodbods were looking to connect with health-conscious consumers to build awareness, share key product info, and drive in-store purchase. The brand used Brandcrush to search and find the perfect, targetted opportunities to connect with their key consumers. They booked a goody-bag sampling campaign into five spaces, including health and wellness studios, and the popular Business Chicks “9 to thrive” event. Each space was given full-sized samples of the product to share with attendees in two delicious flavours: Peanut Butter & Choc Chunk, and Lemon & Coconut. The campaign was a hit for both the brand and the host spaces. Consumers responded with resoundingly positive feedback, loving the healthy snack options and appreciating the generous full-sized sample. A number of people commented that they would definitely seek out the product in-store. The activations also generated a number of amazing images, which the brand could then use to amplify their reach through social media channels.

Sparkling wine in a can

Sonder Wine Co is a US brand already well known for its innovative wine-in-a-can products. The brand were now looking to introduce two new sparkling wine products to the Australian market: Sparkling Pinot Gris and Sparkling Rose. These new sparkling wine products presented a gap in the market for Sonder, with nothing really like it on the shelves in Australia. The brand wanted to take advantage of this point of difference and create awareness for the product, driving purchase through their chosen retailer, BoozeBud. They also wanted to gain insight into the consumer reaction to their product to help inform marketing strategies. Sonder set out to create a sampling campaign that would get full-sized versions of their sparking cans of wine into the hands of their target market: young social holidaymakers and creative co-workers. They used Brandcrush to book activation spaces in a number of accommodation spots during the popular Christmas and New Years Eve period to engage with revellers. They also provided samples of their product to co-working spaces as a freebie to give out on Friday night drinks, engaging the brand with a fun social event. In total, 18 co-working spaces and five popular accommodation sites in NSW and QLD participated in the sampling campaign. Along with the product, guests were given brand and product info via a flyer. Those sampling the wine were encouraged to share their feedback online via a QR code, with a competition element included, incentivizing response.
